The competitive selection process is now open for the "Bridge of Friendship: Russia and the World" program at the Artek International Children's Center.

The My History Fund, in partnership with the Artek International Children’s Center, is excited to launch the competitive selection process for the "Bridge of Friendship: Russia and the World" program, supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
Selected participants will receive invitations to the 2026 thematic session at the Artek International Children’s Center. During the program, participants will explore Russian culture, get acquainted with local traditions and customs, and discover the beauty and richness of the Russian language.
Ivan Esin, Director of the My History Fund, commented: "The 'Bridge of Friendship' program gives young people from around the world the chance to become part of a global community. At Artek, personal connections and cultural exchange become powerful bridges between nations—helping to build mutual understanding and lasting friendships."
Who can apply?
Foreign citizens aged 8 to 17 who are learning Russian or studying in Russian.
How to apply:
  • Individually (via a parent or guardian)
  • In a group of up to 5 participants (via a group leader)
Timeline:
  • March 1 – April 5, 2026: Application submission (portfolio and required documents);
  • April 5 – April 23, 2026: Evaluation of entries;
  • By April 25, 2026: Announcement of results.
To participate, applicants must record a short video on the topic: "How Russia Became My Dream."
Video requirements: 1−3 minutes in length, MP4 format, horizontal orientation.
Results will be posted on the official website by April 25, 2026. Full details—including eligibility, document requirements, and evaluation criteria—are available in the official Competition Rules.
